Ali Shearman you write well and clearly. That makes the labour-part of writing easy.

As for criticism, isn’t it odd what people will complain about? I’m expecting some possibly controversy with what I write about (LGBTQ), and yet you got slammed for being green? What?

When people complain and criticize online it’s a cry for help. Look at it that way.

You can ignore, delete, or attempt to understand.

Maybe you need something of a mantra, to the effect of, what you say is not their problem. Their reaction is their own.

And whats more important to you? Publishing or protecting yourself?

Difficult questions I know, but look to the positive comments and allow those to strengthen your resolve if you’ve been hit by an internet troll! :-)
