Tom Kuegler thank you for the mention! I took a risk with this post. I was worried I might offend (usually that’s a prescription for great content!), but I felt so passionately annoyed, that I knew I had to say what I needed to say.
Why this worked? That post is a rant (and I do loves me a good rant), but as much as I swore, and really pushed all the limits, people have responded to the truth of the piece. The intensity of the rant was peppered with serious humour and satire, which helps control the rant from becoming annoying.
And without offering a direct solution, the piece offers a different “lens” to view the problem I’m ranting about.
I wrote from a place of sheer truth and NO FILTER! :-) and it worked…
